has anyone got any information on what was 2360 part 101 and what was required??
city and guilds saying that they have no information on me completing said part although i know i did. i have since done 2360 part 2, 2381-10, 2391-10 and i am undergoing nvq3.
an electrician without this qualification is like trying to do electrics without a screwdriver and don't know if i can complete nvq3 without it or get jib card as required.
basicly my career is in jeopardy.

trust me mate it seems that city and guilds change the numbers so much that everyone seems to get confused but why dont city and guilds just keep it one way and be done a,b,c 2360 p1,p2 2330 etc etc 2345566778888 what next

on the back of my card says company assessed, my mates was indust assessed-like u say 2391 is a higher qual then part1 which you seem to be worried about but when i went to jib i had onc and a bit of hnc they didnt want to know i think you have to just fill in the gaps of what is needed from them not so much about qualifications hope that helps mate, if not pm me again and i will try to help

from what i remember there was no certificate issued for part 1,you just got a letter from college saying you passed, ive had the same problem but c&g said there was no certificate, they had my part 2 but no part 1 on file, but im sure that to do part 2 you had to have completed part1 anyway.

wow i must be looking a bits of paper from c and g that i worked hard 4 and spent 9 months earning and i have not thanked santa for, because if the college didnt talk to c and g they must of come through the post from santa

i have looked have you got p1 assignments 236005
as you stated and vince on another post, 101 which they say i havent completed is assignments however my record of acheivement indicates assignments pass* no number 236005 though, i have two records of acheivement the only number that diferientiates the two is at the botom 9306 and 9307.

like i said..ive spoke to c&g and they have no cert for part 1,the same problem king has, mine were from 87...maybe i should have been a good boy and santa could bring me one..

Just realised he said 'old timers' having qualifications in the late 90s.....jesus I did mine in late 80s...I must be a museum piece..............cheeky whippersnapper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

Well how old does that mak me feel I did mine in 1978
I sat Electrical Principles B course (approved)
and Electrical Regulations B course (approved)
A course was Electrician
B course was Approved Electrician
C course was Technician

PS maybe thats why I picked Oldtimer

ok mate mine was in 90's as i said before if c and g kept things the same no one would have to worry about all this 2360 2330 p1 p2 etc, people would be asked have you got c and g what ever number ? and i think the person that was asking the question had taken his exams in the 90's
