Just went next door round to my neighbour to help him him out with electrical issue. He changed a fuse to a 2 way lighting circuit and now the light only works in one position. I can only assume he has put the wrong fuse in?

lol I never said I was mate. I had a problem with a socket and was just talking to my neighbour about it when he told me about his two way fault. I've got a Lv 3 cert but alas no experience but he asked me about it and i couldn't give him answer.

Cant help being a bit hippyish, but I feel a bit sorry for the chap, he's asked a silly question but he's clearly stated he's an apprentice (perhaps just started) and now he might have been scared off!!

Did you mean a fuse in the Consumer unit Column79? That wouldn't affect the 2 way nature of a switch. The 2 way switch itself would have been wired incorrectly most probably if it only works in one direction. Suggest an electrician.... or a domestic installer of course
