well if it shaped i would need a template to work from spesh otherwise ỳou`d never get it right....so the thing to do would be to remove the glass (only if it comes out easily without damaging the meter case of course) and get your wifes libstick all over the glass and you can then transfer the outline to a piece of card.....a bit like tracing for gaskets...you would have to send me the template through the post. I would then mark this as..say...AVO3 GLASS....and keep this for use to replacement glass in the future
 
If you can't find the exact replacement then I would use a small piece of clear engineered perspex sheet and bond it into place. Don't use superglue, it leaves a cloudy residue on glass and plastic.

Scratch resistant optically treated perspex is also available but if you can't buy it as cut pieces it's a problem because the price of a full or even a half sheet is prohibitive.
