I need to terminate 16mm SWA 2 core cable in Wylex REC Supply Isolators. Going to be using armour for earth. Whats the best thing to do with the earth. I have 12 of these to install. The only idea I have is to terminate armour on steel trunking then run 2 cores into Wylex REC Supply Isolators. Lastly connect earth back to intake. I'm sure there is a better way, I dont want to use steel trunking unless I have to?

I'm not looking to pick a fight with anyone, I come herefor quality advice, and I'm never disappointed.

I agree with Tel, 3 core would be easier/safer. But likewise the stats on using SWAare conclusive and nobody questioned this in the last post. I also appreciateyour sound advice on using an adaptor box which I will be taking.
However, poor connections on SWA is surly down to poor workmanship, not the solution.I can only imagine the engineers you have followed don't bother testing theloop impedance.

The worst one by far was a metal adaptable box which had completely rusted around the cable gland! The connection may be good the day its built but what about 5/10 years down the line?

Back to adaptable boxes, can't find any long enough to do in one run, so I will buy a few. But can only find 20mm KO's. I assume I need 25mm for 16mm 2 core SWA ?
Also on CU side, I have MK metal, again no 25mm only 20 and 32mm. Can I use 32mm gland on 16mm 2 core cable, I would have thought it would be too big?

You would treat it as a TT installation.
