Well it is a Friday afternoon, old speckled hen time :8:
But Bage have you seen the fellas join date here FFS, geordie is right and even though the OP has removed all his posts he has been caught out via quotes lol, the whole thread is very disturbing, god help the customer thats all I can say.
There's always one show off ........
Knobs like this make my nipples itch
Yes my answer will be "yours or clean ones"I've just arrived at this thread and we seem to have a 'mute' poster who communicates via morse code and everyone else appears to be able to translate his quotes, very clever indeed!
Can anyone translate this then ......?
The customer will be fine when these guys come round:

no he aint...You’re a Mancunian, I don’t believe a word you say.
Not the best we’ve had.
A few years back the same topic reached in to the 100’s of posts.
I'll give you a tip, use the site serch. We're getting fed up with this cropping up once a month.
So you've just done a complete CU change............ i have just installed a wylex split load uint
.......without doing any circuit tests beforehand and you're now sitting with an RCD tripping fault.......however when you turn on the lights they trip the rcd to the left of the mcb and i cannot understand why as they are on the none rcd side or have i done something wrong.
.....and you've come to the forum to get advice on what might be causing it.....any advice welcomed
cheers
jon
...because you've attempted to find the problem without too much success.........I have been tracing the wiring and think I have narrowed it down to a fault or incorrectly wired dimmer switch. Which is what I am now looking at. I was wiring the light it the rcd side but after reading wylex PDF it states to the right. On the none rcd side which is the confusing aspect.
.....because you don't own or have access to any test equipment......Sorry no no test equipment
even though you're a qualified sparky who's out of practice.yes I am qualified but have not done anything for about 5 years and am out of practice
If they come round, to many cowboys to catch!!!yeeeehaaaa
