    Them switches are capable.of load switching... yes they burn out . Replace and blame the manufacture.

    I've been to house where w/m and t/dryer on an extension plugged in. scorch marks and signs of melting and hasn't tripped. I blame the cheap extension lead from pound shop or the likes.

    Depends what ya want but allow 100 per standard point, as you don't even seem to ask the right questions. No offence.. design , 1st fix, 2nd fix, completion certificate.
