    Morning all, As we know, you can run a spur on a ring final cct from the top of the 32a breaker. But can you run a single socket radial cct from a 32a breaker? essentially making it a spur but without the ring being present. Thanks

    32A Commando Socket.

    Got a machine at a job rated at 32A Max, I believe that it will be fine on a 32amp commando interlocked socket but i have been requested to fit a 63amp? Does anyone else think it should be overrated to 63amp, considering its backed at the board by a 32Amp opd.

    32A mcb changed to 40A mcb what certs?

    Hi I was wondering what certificate is required for changing just one 32A mcb to 40A mcb. It for 8.5 kw shower replacement, 15 meter of wiring is existing 10mm2 clipped to wall and there is a 45A shower isolator in meter cupboard.

    No RCD protection for socket outlets rated 32A or greater

    Hi Guys, Can somebody shed any light on why socket outlets rated at 32Amps or greater do not require RCD protection under BS7671? Presumably theres some maths behind it? And presumably the only exception is in a TT earthing System? Cheers chaps
