used makita for the last few years and have never had a problem, but recently used some bosch and found them really good. but now im in a dilemma im looking at buying some new tools and cant decide which to buy now?

Has anyone else had issues with this model of drill ?. My boss has one as do I both of them are roughly the same age (3 years). His has lost the hammer action and one batt has died completely, mines lost 3rd gear and both batts charge and discharge in a bout 2 mins.

I am looking for some replacement dust bags for my Makita 440 dust extractor but dont like the standard white bags as they tear or rip at the slightest movement and spill dust ell over the place ! I know you can get the double lined bags but they are twice the price and still ocasionally tear...

Looking at getting a twin pack of combi drill and impact driver.
Narrowed it down to either Milwaukee or makita, on paper the Milwaukee is winning with better torque for both tools.
Anyone got any opinions on either?
