Just a quick word of warning to everyone, we have just had one of our Fluke MFT's had to go the repairers with an ERR1 fault. Initial thought was that user had blown it, but this was not the case.
Apparently they are susceptible to having their memory wiped by mobile phones or WIFI devices!

Hi I'm in the market for new test equipment and just wanted to know what you would recommend preferably a mft. I have had a look at the metrel mi 3152 eurotest xc, has any one had experience with it and what they think of it, thanks in advance.

Good evening!
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Di Log 9083p 17th edition MFT. I am looking to get my first MFT and this seems to be coming up as a nice cheapish "starter" one compared to the more expensive Fluke and Megger ones available second hand. They are popping...

generally the first thing I do when I buy my megger testers is throw the box out and put them in a bag as storage is crap in the original box, how do you guys store yours? My bag is about to need replacing and fancy something different! It's a megget mft
Fluke 1651b, hardly used - http://www.electriciansforums.co.uk/posts/1210289/
Just spotted this mft for sale on the forum, It's a cracking first tester for someone out there and a cracking price.
Iv recently purchased my first MFT and will get it calibrated soon
however, I was thinking, what is actually happened to the machine to warrant regular calibrated? Is something physical moving in the machine that needs adjusting? Is it a software thing?
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a decent MFT repair shop, in the South, who can repair Metrel MFT's?
I am a sole trader and can't afford to be without it for long!
Thanks
I know this has probably been discussed to death but could I have some advice/recommendations for my first all round MFT. Money is tight so I'm waiting till my birthday and asking everyone for money instead of gifts etc. Hopefully I can raise £300-£400.
will that be enough for a budget MFT? Or...
Hi all
Hope your well, my metrel finally packed up today and after ringing metrel uk for a repair price (£169 plus vat) I've decided to get myself a new kit. I've been looking through tester mans site and the megger mft1710 and the kewtech kt63 look decent testers and within my price range, has...
So I had a little helpful advice on another thread I atarted, but thought I would ask specifics.
I'm about to buy an MFT, and was looking at the Megger MFT 720. It's pricey but looks nice and I have used them before, but is it overkill? I will be doing domestic and commercial work, sole...
Just recently bought a Megger MFT1730. It comes up with a "EER 76" message when switched on. It eventually clears after switching on & off several times an allows testing to proceed. The batteries are fully charged. Any ideas?
