Hi All,
can anyone explain the purpose of the document "schedule of inspection" why we need it and also the other document "Generic Schedule of Test Results"
cheers
Pete
I was asked which tests during a Schedule of test on a new building and then on an in use building were mandatory.
Where ever I look in the few regs books I have with me they say where "relevant" or "recommended" not will be or shall be done!
So,..... R2 test mandatory or if you feel like it...

I'm just writing up an EICR from last month, one of the findings was a lighting circuit on the non RCD side of the board where the cpc was used as a strapper in 2 way light switching, Ive marked it as C2 for two reasons, one being that there is no longer a cpc in the cable and also that...

Many Thanks
Amendment 1 added a "Reference Method" column to the schedule of test results and while this makes perfect sense for new installs I am a little confused about what should be entered into this column for consumer unit changes, i.e. where you can't see all the cable runs so can't be sure what the...
Hi lads and lassies,
I recently started a new job as Inspection and Testing manager of a local company. One of my tasks is to keep an eye on previous PIR's/EICR's and when they are due for 're-testing' to generate work. I was wondering if any of you have come across software that would notify...
Just a quick question, in the general section of this form,
1. presence of under voltage protective devices, there are passive rcds on the cu and no dol starter, I've put n/a for this
2. Connection of single pole devices for protection or switching in line conductors only, all sockets used...

Hi guys, just a quick one.
Is there a 3 phase schedule of results when the board is used to supply single phase circuits only?
I've got a feeling that I've seen a Robin schedule where the 1st column was the phase number (1,2 or 3) and covered a number of circuits.
Thanks in advance.
Steve.
Hi
I am trying to fill in a Schedule of test results for a domestic installation. I have one question:
When filling in the the sheet under the section Overcurrent protective device what goes in the "Type" part? Is it acceptable to just say TYPE B or do i have to get the whole number like B...
My second post coming up and once again a 'hypothetical' that could become reality shortly...
Install a radial socket circuit in a garage supplied from a spare way in the consumer unit (RCD protected), all tests ok.
1. Presumably this requires a EIC and associated Schedule of Inspections?
2...
Just trying to get something straight in my mind. I've been looking at the Electrical Safety Council's Guidance 6 for changing a consumer unit in a domestic premises. They say that if the customer does not wish for a full EICR then the pre-work survey required before the CU change should...
I'm just about to move into a new apartment in the Philippines. I know the electrical code here will be different here to that in the UK, but if you could tell me if it's safe, or whether we're all going to burn to a cinder, that would be a great help! :)
I've attached the load schedule. I'm...
Has anybody got a sample of, or whats different in an Industrial Condition report inspection schedule,
as most samples I've seen are suitable for premises upto 100A supply.
