i sat it and as soon as i came out i realised i made some grave errors, completely forgot to mention vunerable equipment on the IR test question and forgot to put down restore to condition it was in before testing. was kicking myself theres a couple more tings that i ent confident on eiva. i jus seem to forget evrything when i sit down

you be ok mate you wont be the only one the exam conditions make you stress more when the paper gets leaked go through it again and give yourself marks but be strict then you will have some idea of how well you did

good luck to all

Hi mate dont know but i dont think ya can put the paper directly on here big bruv and all that
pass it on to a couple of people and then they can pass it on also and so on by pm to get there email thats how i have got most of mine
I think the mods had to stop allowing papers to be posted

haha ht i tried peepin at yours but the invigilators were like hawks lol if i fail it il do it agen but just need to sort out the nerves once im in there

The 2391-10 is a floating passmark, the papers are marked before the passmark is allocated.
I thought it was. i think the paper was fairly average compared to past papers that we revised with, however that will mean a high threshold pass mark.
I personally hate the "explain in detail how to do this or that test" questions, i could literally fall to sleep thinking about it....boooooooooooring.
Cant stop going over the ones i fluffed, for instance i actually changed my answer from 500v to a 1000v for the test voltage for 400v circuit!
Remembered straight after the exam that surge protection device in test circuit has to be tested across L-N to CPC at 250v, i put L-N, L-CPC , N-CPC. Another own goal.
Couldnt actually think why the 25mm main bonding cable was acceptable when using a 70mm Earth conductor?
The test generally seemed to be focusing on the candidates actual working knowledge and experience rather than preset answers from a certain page of which ever publication.(good idea).
Just my opinion.
I started off at about 50% for the first past papers i practised on (being strict with myself) and progressed to about 70/75% as the info began to stick in my thick bonce. I still think that is borderline.
But i think one mans strength is anothers weakness and i think you have to hope for "your" strongest questions to arise.

I think if you know you got about 60% of the questions right, you will probably have got more than that right. I thought I had most of section A right, and was unsure about section B. I know I got all the diagrams right i.e earth path (zs) and the three test for testing a ring diagram, test paper Feb 10 2011. A few I thought was wrong, I found was write, after looking in the regs book. But you never know till you get the cert. Good luck.

That's some notice period!

Sensible putting things in place now.

I guess working for a 6$ a year turnover company can give that sort of notice, I had a choice of 3 slots before the final closure in July 2012.
I went for the April one as I hoped it could prove perfect for the start of a new tax year for companies and the end of the Christmas credetcard blues for the people in homes.
Just got to get some customers, my most worrying issue.

completely forgot to mention vunerable equipment on the IR test question and forgot to put down restore to condition it was in before testing

I too forgot this, well, I wrote it in the bullet point list then crossed it out, because the quesion asked for the whole installation to be IR'ed.
I went for the L-N linked together and tested to earth which I thought would not harm vunerable equipment.....

I sat it the other day aswell, the questions wern't too bad at all, there was a few that threw me though. Then i rushed the last 3 big questions and i'm sure i missed a few things out, plus the last question re: earth loop fault path i drew a tncs instead of tns, such a doughnut!!! I did also put a written explantation aswell but the last leg of the earth on the drawing was wrong, not sure if they'll dismiss the whole answer or at least mark me for the bits i draw and labled correctly.

Also there was a question about PFC for three phase which i think i ballsed up, i ended up pretty much writing out all the connections for an IR test between all phases, neutral and earth i.e. 10 tests, not sure that was right, probably not. So basically it felt like the questions wern't too bad but it's the time factor that gets me, end up rushing and missing things out!! Plus my handwriting is so messy with lots of crossing out i wonder if the examiner can even understand my answers, must be the fact that i don't use the old pen and paper anymore, all on pc these days.

So a 2 month wait then if i fail probably another 2 months to wait to re-book onto the next exam.

Same here mate my hand writning is awfull i struggle to read it myself and i must have put a line through 10 different items. Good luck to the examiner i say

I also struggled at the end.
I mean a question on SWA and it's erection methods, A ring test, An IR test.
All these answers take quite a long time to write.
And when you're under pressure as well it's easy to miss something.
I'm just forgetting about it now until the result comes.
Anyway, we have the practical to think about.
