Can’t access connection of main bond to water pipe due to being (I assume under hardwood flooring) have confirmed continuity by disconnecting the 10mm at Met clamping on and testing with wander lead to copper pipe where it enters out of kitchen floor, but I can’t confirm the condition of the clamp, how would I record this on EIC? Or is just confirming continuity sufficient?
Incidentally the gas meter is at the top of a wall in the middle of the house, can visually see that clamp...

You were changing kitchen cupboards ?
Lol yes kitchen and bathroom refurb murdoch,am only a domestic installer and quite content with it, run a small building firm, done previous Cu changes but mostly on full refurbs of a property so any issues like this easily resolved as mess not a problem.

Gift then where the pipe comes up ?
If it is an old property it could well be lead or cast fed.

First sign of any water pipe is in 15mm copper as it comes up from the kitchen floor, whole house done in oakish type flooring over flooring joists then from kitchen onwards it’s all concrete flooring, continuity was 0.02 short of ripping the place to bits can’t see what else I can do other than make a note on the cert ya know?
