i have drilled through a waste pipe from a toilet that doesnt be usaed much so isnt leaking, have you evr done this and did you have to cut the pipe and refit piece or were you able to fill with ct1 or anything you consider was good

Sticks like **** lol very apt .... Ct1 will do it ,get a conduit lid the flat type squirt some CT1 around the hole ,heat up the lid so it bends and glue it over the hole with the CT1 ...........puncture repair kit for plastic pipe , could have been worse a lad that work at the old firm i worked for drilled a hole through a chimney breast pushed a load of cables through it all wired in then that evening the sparks did fly when the fire was lit melted all the cables took out the board filled the house with smoke cost over ÂŁ2000 to carry out repairs what a muppet

Lol mate you are funny. I like your style though

Went into the side of a 4 inch outside pipe the other week, used 1 jubilee clip and a inch wide slice off of a pipe repair kit (8mm hole).
Its hidden in the bushes around the side of the house, so no-one should ever know.

Holy crap,a lot of replies to an essentially s--t problem

Some of the replies were crap, solid even
A turd of the replies were sensible
Another turd were soft and gentle
The other turd didn't emerge, though a lot of effort was exerted trying to pass the comment

You'll be getting a reputation as a horse riding cattle herderer at this rate...:wink5:

Seriously though, you had the balls to own up and ask advice.

If it was me, I would have just told the customer that there is no way they can have a light there because of the proximity of the other service pipe. I hope this isn't something that comes back and haunts you at a later date when someone sticks a 50W halogen in there.
