Guys,

If any of the more experienced members would like to become a mentor on the trainee forum please reply to this thread. The link to this thread will be posted in the staff room for admin. Please remember that these are verified trainees in this forum and MUST be treated with respect when answering.

Any off topic posts on this thread will be removed.

I am willing to help. Dont mind helping as long as they are verified trainees and not just someone who thinks they can get a quick fix off a internet forum.

I can assure you they are verified. They have all provided full contact details, qualifications gained (if any) and their college details etc.

Its the complete opposite Dillb. The trainees that are in there you will know from the open forum and all of them are great. Its not the area to come and ask us to do their homework for them. We have some good little debates going and talking about fault finding, regs, exams etc.

We have some top people within the industry on this forum and we need to help out the next generation of electricians. Wish I had this form of resource when I was in college.

Tony lol. I would love to post up a sarcastic reply to you but Sintra would kick my backside for it. I'll pm you instead

I can Help with College course work and also in the Electronics/controls side of things, something different to bring to the blackboard....

in addition to the fact that I can be somewhat of a night owl at times and can be a presence during night time hours for questions asked late in the day.....with an answer waiting to be picked up in the morning on College computers or on the smartphone at work....

just don't expect very many biscuits left in the canteen in the morning... :stuart:

Thats why I would like to help, as much as this forum seems to becoming some thing off a Monty Python sketch sometimes. The help it can also give to those serious about becoming a sparky is far more valuable to the industry.

OK, I'm up for it for the genuine trainees. As others have said, better to help them than not.
