O k i will start. Got some remedials afer a PIR and the tonight during nightshift i have to put in 1200 20mm Blind Grommits into sockets. Who else has had mind numbing jobs?

I wouldn't question the craft skills needed,but I would question their sanity, to want to do it in the first place

I know exactly, going into a trade where the main activity is watching paint dry joke

Painting Wood is disgustinly tedious. It look's nice but I'd rather pay someone to do it than do it myself

After 4999 i still couldnt tell you what day it was ,PC's monitors,IEC leads , kettle jar of coffee didnt stop talking to myself for a month after, all on my tod first job when i started on my own lol ,wife thought i was having an affair with a girl called pat , it took 4 weeks 7 hours a day , at least they were all in the same big room still have night mares but the therapy helps

Michelle2909 read the statement he didnt say if there were other people helping there may have been 2 other doing a total of 5000 tests. here is great tip to learn in this trade.

And just maybe, in the Christmas spirit of things, there is such a thing as poetic licence.

I suspect the point of Nick's post was as much about the fact after a couple of hundred devices, it may as well be a couple of thousand.

There is such an animal as being too literal, as fine as your maths skills clearly are.
