I'd agree with everyone above, never disturb the earth clamp on a lead cable unless there's absolutely no other option.. I'm interested to know what your Ze reading was.

Ze 0.29 Ω not a million miles away at allas dave says. diss. your outgoing earths/bondings , and get your Ze. from the block and the incomer L in your CU.
i'll guess at a Ze of < 0.3 Ω

Based on the regs I'm convinced I have to upgrade to 10mm
currently there isn't a good connection to the pipe and there's no Label
The main water bonding is on a thiner cable and it's connected to the lead pipe.
Asking for continued assistance........
