In domestic work, I usually supply smokes from the down stairs lighting circuit via a marked up keyswitch next to the CU. This gives you isolation and when the lights go, someone will notice (hopefully!).

2330 and the 2356 are to finish this year. They will be replaced by 2357, combined 2330 and 2356. Someone has said it is to stop these 'fast track' schemes on the 2330, but not sure about this. Would seem to be harder to do the new one though without being in the trade.
