    I also am considering doing this, your hourly rate is much the same as mine. however as Murdoch says you need to stste that any other prices are guidance only as no 2 jobs are the same, perhaps put the prices as "starting at?"

    if its a basic continuity tester and there is something plugged in on each circuit its possibly picking up thru the nuetrals if they are all still connected?

    A new circuit should satisfy it mate ie new ring main in your garage clipped surface, thats what i used! if you know your stuf you will have no problems, there were no trick questions just make sure your paper work is all in order

    I beleive either would be acceptable as i think meter neutral terminals are common to each other and not across the meter

    Im not sure as i have not seen the bills, just going by what they have told me they get 3 separate bills, i have told them to contact their supplier about it, I just wanted to check that i am correct in advising them 3 separate bills for a 3 phase supply is wrong.

    Hi thanks for the replys its in lincs not london, its a 3 phase supply with 3 single phase meters (1 for each phase) these then all go to the same 3 phase board it seems the client receives a seperate bill for each meter which i thought was rather odd. I think it probably had 3 single phase...

    Ok i visited a property today that has a 3 phase consumer unit fed via 3 single phase meters, not something i have ever seen before.. can anyone tell me is this allowed and also would the owner be paying more for their electric as they have 3 separate bills?:confused:

    I have been asked to carry out a periodic inspection on a caravan site with static caravans only (not tourers ). Can any one tell me if the maximum periods between inspections is the same for static parks as for touring parks? and the same question for the caravans ? Thanks for any help:D

    if the thread on your holesaw mandrill is long enough its sometimes possible to use a holesaw the same size as the hole as a pilot bit it usually works for me
