I hope we are on the correct wave length here for what im talking about.
Well i did think it was for IP ratings, but now im thinking its for restraining the cable, and its NOT!, since when, thats the question im asking(16th or just 17th Edition), a cable restraint to the entrance of the box...
Lol another note failed many by calc but when tested its always lower, Money making skeem in the making, Max Ze in TN-s in regs not measured and then Dead test R1+R2 you try...much bigger usually
It seems the House Holder has removed a faulty bit of equipment like an Iron, or something, or you have corrected the fault when putting the Neutrals back in the correct RCD places maybe, or did i miss the point LMAO its l8 for my old eyes.
Calcs are ok in some cases maybe a percentage to help speed you up in this get it done world we live in, but not for all the test sheet the calc for a ring main is not the same as Zs=Ze+(R1+R2), Can you Tell what it is yet :)
Weard, but i have forgot the maths to work out Amps im using a 50v Lighting system and cable is 2.5 not the usual 1.5 as amps are more in this system...
Hope to see some great reminder Calcs here plz not done them for years...
Just a daft quick scan but i got it from these bits Ready for this oh hell not sure i can find one of them hehe

This is quite funny realy the only reason for the BGB is to see that you can read it and know where to look if you need the answers, In a court of law they will ask you all there is to know about this little Green Book and referre to it, This is what ive been told anyway and should not be taken...
I feel you should have said to him get your company you work for or a company who has all the correct testing methods in place, its an easy job to someone who has done it before, but can also turn into a nightmare if the RCD detects any issues(in your perspective im sure the spark you get should...
The Common use for using a Rockrose is to place it on a End Box surface within the Ceiling grid.(PVC white conduit example) or maybe a through box(PVC white conduit example) depending on cable route passing, the cables would be held to the ceiling via allround band or Clipped to joists...
A simple test from stop cock to CU wandering lead would check for any good old ohms, if the cable size was ok at board, also agree remove plaster to expose clamp, you should be able to see this for good practice anyway. good luck.
I know its common practice to use a lesser voltage, but you should be using 500v, if you turn back time use 1000v just for the luck the TV breaks hehe....
Ive had this issue with voltage on both the none connected and connected, ive put it down to EMF and as you say RCD and other connected items within, depending on the voltage amount, hehe, shame you all blasted this lad for inexperience good god im still learning just done the 17th cant wait for...
This is great , but can i add a comment about IP codes in Bs 7671, as I cant find for the following Principle if at all exists.
Work related a PVC Thro box or End box used to mount a rockrose, my employer, is under the impression that you have to seal the ends with, example 20mm Stuffing...
